I am really touched with the way how people are appreciating the retirement of Sachin. Looking at this I think even Bollywood might have started accelerating their brains by thinking on a concept based on the little master. Probably a biopic dedicated to the God of Cricket! Well this inspirational cricketer has already inspired lot of people and I think a film based on him will re-create the nostalgic feeling among all the cricket fans.
But the question is, who can give justice to this extraordinary human being? I think it will be too difficult to guess but lets see if I get it right someday. I have few names in mind and would appreciate if you also let me know some.
Here are my list of probables who can be Sachin on the silver screen:
1. Sharman Joshi
What about an under-rated actor who has lot of potential and can work really hard to be Sachin? I think he can mould his looks like Sachin. Not a close choice but a wiser one.
2. Shahid Kapoor
Well I must say his career is almost on the verge of getting finish (if R... Rajkumar fails) but can be considered for Sachin's role looking at the height and his appearance on-screen. Not sure if he will be considered but a probable choice.
3. Rahul Bose
An unusual choice but even he maintains the same kind of height and posture which Sachin has. I know looks and appearance doesn't count 100% but it does create a feel among the audience. Also, he played a role of a cricketer in Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli which makes him an experienced actor too.
4. Farhan Akhtar
What about a sprinter playing a cricketer? With Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar proved himself to be a very versatile actor and I think he also looks a little bit like Sachin (maybe few would disagree). This might not be considered but I think even he could play a good part.
5. Aamir Khan
One of the most suitable actor for Sachin's role (according to me) is Aamir. He have also desired to play Sachin's role in an interview and I think he can give maximum justice to the role. He has also done films like all-rounder and Lagaan which has a cricket factor and hence makes him one of the strongest contender in the list. My vote goes to him.
I don't think there can be any other actor except these mentioned once who can give justice or rather can be considered to perform the role of Sachin. I am hoping people will try to generate some content related to him and Sachin will soon be in the news again.
