Bollywood Films that Must be Re-Released

Recently I saw the trailer of Sholay which is going to arrive in 3D. Everyone knows about this epic film and it's importance in India cinema. Releasing it in 3D is a huge dedication and tribute to all those Bollywood lovers who have seen and will see the movie once again. I missed this movie in theaters as I wasn't born during that era but I guess this will be a golden opportunity to watch Sholay in theaters and that too in 3D. Films of that category should be released again and hence I have found some movie that should definitely be Re-Released:

1. Hera Pheri

This film is a cult for me. People who haven't seen it in theaters have surely missed something huge. Just imaging if this film is re-released then I am sure it can cross 100cr mark.

2. Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge:

Another film which is a must in the re-release category. If it is released in 3D than I guess everyone would find themselves as SRK and Kajol.

3. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Another SRK film on the track (trust me I am not his biggest fan). This film is still relevant in todays time and I would surely guarantee that this film also has the capability to cross 100cr mark.

4. Andaz Apna Apna

How can one forget a film like this! Andaz Apna Apna was among those films that shocked me with it's comedy. A film with such witty comedy and that too during mid 90s says it all. I think forget about making a sequel, I would suggest a re-release which in itself will be path breaking.

5. Satya

Satya (1998) Poster

Would you mind if you see Bhiku Mhatre and Kallu Mama again on the big screen? Well, no one would mind. If you haven't seen Satya then I am sure you haven't entered the era of Gangster movies. RGV's classic include Satya on top and I think nothing can beat this.

6. Border

One more cult in the list. What if this film is released in 3D? I think it will be an unusual experience.

7. Mera Naam Joker

If you haven't cried watching movies then I am sure Mera Naam Joker will break that path. One of the most emotional movies of Bollywood according to me. If this movie is released again then I think nothing can stop the entire family to watch it.

8. Dil Chahta Hai

Do I need to convince you to re-release Dil Chahta Hai? Films on Bromance doesn't need any reason to be watched. One of the best films made on friendship.

9. Mother India

This was the first film to be selected for Oscar. Todays generation has not seen the film but I would suggest them to watch if they want to know the meaning of real cinema. This film has all the factor that needed to get in the list. One of my most favorite.

10. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro

I am a big comedy fan and that's why I would want this film to be in the list. The Technic and the treatment of the film doesn't seem to be seen in today's time. I this this film should be released worldwide again.

To conclude, I wish these films release again on the silver screen because it has the capacity to create a new milestone...again :)
