Bullett Raja Movie Review - The Heat will not end this Winter

Movie- Bullett Raja
CastSaif Ali Khan, Jimmy Shergil, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidyut Jamwal, Gulshan Grover
Director- Tigmanshu Dhulia

I think the best time of the year for Bollywood has arrived. After Ram-Leela and a decent Singh Saab, Bullett Raja keeps the charts alive. No doubt people are expecting a great work as it has Tigmanshu in it but having Saif Ali Khan as the lead gave it a different touch. The Nawab playing a gangster is a unique visual experience (After Omkara). I arrived to the screening and did not waste time to grab a seat.

Story -
Sometimes Gangsters are not born, they are made. This is what the story is all about. Saif becomes a gangster because the government, police and the people forced him to be so. He always wanted to kill people who are against law and at the same time respected women and that's why he also falls in love with Sonakshi. The story does not grab your attention but it's script does.

Performance -
Saif Ali Khan - Nawab Sahab plays the role of a gangster perfectly. He made it look very easy and I guess he was a perfect choice for the role.

Jimmy Shergill - He has become an apple of the eye for Tigmanshu. His screen presence is simply amazing. This guy had gained respect in Bollywood too (After Punjabi films)

Sonakshi Sinha - She is beautiful and also performed nicely. Though she did not have much to showcase but whatever she could, she did it with ease.

Vidyut Jamwal - This guy had a single scene in the film before but after his performance Tigmanshu gave him an entire role. Well, nothing else needs to be said. He is a cunning actor ;)

Gulshan Grover - He was also good. But I guess he was one of the drawback of the film.

Technical Aspect -
If you ask me then I wouldn't think twice to say that the dialogues and the script were the lead heroes of the film. None of the dialogues were referred from any of Tigmanshu's previous films and everytime the actors spoke, it felt original. More than just a story it was a mixture of smooth & rough Saga

Positives -
The dialogues will not bore you at any point nor the actors.

Negatives -
Average Songs.

Final Verdict -
Bullett Raja is another Tigmanshu's brilliant attempt (I wouldn't consider Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns). It has all the entertainment factor that needs to be there in a paisa wasool film. I am going to watch it again with my MAWALI friends and would ask you also to enjoy this ride.

Rating - 3.5/5

Why You should watch Bullett Raja -
Because it will entertain you. It's not a brainless comedy (thank God). It's a new Tigmanshu Ishtyle classic.

Why you should avoid Bullett Raja -
If you are saving money for Dhoom 3

Business Ratings -
Bullett Raja should easily do 65-70cr of business. Ram-Leela might be an obstacle but I think it won't hurt Bullett Raja's business much.

(The above business ratings are just predictions and verdicts are as per my views and knowledge.)
