Yaariyan Review - Taaliyan aur Gaaliyan

I will not waste my time in explaining about the movie. Straight to point guyz! Yaariyan is a story which has multiple story lines within an umbrella of colors filled with fun, ambition, revenge, teachings, drama, climax and of course LOVE. The first half is full of college fun, nightouts, pranks and masti whereas the second half deals with Drama, Mom & Son relation with some really intense sequences.
A Yaariyan Poster.jpg

The films is about how youngsters who have no aim in life, find a reason to realize how much important their country, their parents, their friends and their Love are!

The movie runs normal during the initial stage but later looses its grip after the interval. I really liked the first half which is full of Dhamaal and Masti which actually goes on with the feel of the movie. The next half no doubt needed to be intense but it went to a level of over dramatized performance.

Nothing worked for the film except it's direction and songs. Divya Kumar did it well. Stars disappointed to the core especially Himansh Kohli who looked really emphasized on funny sequences.

Overall, Yaariyan is strictly for teens, mama's boys and the one who would like to see some emotional drama. Otherwise a strict NO. I am going with 2.5/5 for Yaariyan only because of it's songs, direction and 1st half :)

This film will easily make profits as there are lot of youth awaiting for the movie. Anything between 20-25cr is a good number

R...Rajkumar Movie Review - Gandi Film

Movie- R...Rajkumar
CastShahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonu Sood, Ashish Vidyarthi & Mukul Dev
Director- Prabhu Dheva

When I saw Rowdy Rathore I was entertained and when I saw Ramaiya Vastavaiya I was still under an impression that Prabhu Dheva was trying hard to get into the space of a typical Bollywood entertainer. But now after watching R...Rajkumar I was convinced that this is the end of Prabhu Deva's creativity. I don't think there are any other conceptual entertainers left for him which he can showcase to entertainment loving audience. (Sorry for too much of entertainment :P)

Story -
Another Romeo & Juliet flick which ends up happily. R..Rajkumar is about a little kid Shahid who is a dare devil. He works for Sonu Sood and loves Sonakshi like anything. But Sonu Sood also starts loving her and then the real war begins. Lot of 'Maar-Dhaad' (too much actually) and irritating dialogues. That's all.

Performance -
Shahid Kapoor - He is star with a bad luck in the industry. All his films come with great promotion but end up being a misfit. But as an actor he did it quite good.
Sonakshi Sinha - Too much of her is the main problem. I don't know how to compare her. Her role reminded me of Sonakshi in Rowdy Rathore.
Sonu Sood - I remember only one dialogue of his... "Main Sehat ke Liye Hanikarak Hu"(I am injurious to health)
Ashish Vidyarthi & Mukul Dev - They were a good supporters of the leads.

Technical Aspect -
R...Rajkumar is at every sense a bore. The king of this boredom is it's dialogue. Pathetic story with Useless dialogues gives you a super-dooper flop.

Positives -
Nothing to be precise. If I had to then probably the performance.

Negatives -
Everything especially the dialogues. Yuckksssss... It's better I hear Prabhu Dheva (though I don't know what he says)

Final Verdict -
R...Rajkumar is a flop entertainer with a very conventional thought and dissociated script. It has everything that can smash a film at the Box office. Thumbs Down.

Rating - 1/5

Why You should watch R...Rajkumar -
I recommend don't watch

Why you should avoid R...Rajkumar -
Just avoid

Business Ratings -
Phata Poster did 35+cr at the Box Office and I think there are huge fan followers of Shahid. Hence anything above 35cr is a magical figure.
